SOMAGUE holds a 17.206% stake in Lusoponte, founded in 1994.
Lusoponte holds the concession for the operation of the 25 de Abril and Vasco da Gama bridge road crossings over the Tagus River. This concession includes the exploitation of the 25 de Abril bridge (open since 1966) and the construction and exploitation of the Vasco da Gama Bridge (open to traffic since March 1998) for a 33-year period. |

A total of 698 million Euros was invested in the Vasco da Gama Bridge, financed by European Union subsidies, the European Investment Bank, shareholder equity and toll revenues.
